Whenever I’ve searched online for grants, I’ve always gotten a response saying that I have to buy a book full of grants, but I can search all day long for scholarships for FREE. What’s up with that?

I am looking for money to pay for my fall semester. Besides the FAFSA and all these other formal scholarships, are there any weird, unusual scholarships out there? Every site looks the same to me: Sign up and you could win $30, 000 . Who ever wins that stuff?
I know there are scholarships out there for people who are left handed…anyone know of anymore?
By easy, I mean forms where I don’t have to write essays and that type of stuff. I’m a senior, and I’m doing this for a project, so it doesn’t matter too much to me if I get accepted for the scholarships or not.
